Some quasi Grüss type inequalities for the Riemann-Stieltjes integral of continuous complex valued integrands defined on the complex unit circle C (0; 1) and various subclasses of integrators are given. Natural applications for functions of unitary operators in Hilbert spaces are provided.

Given a positive integer n and φ : U→ U, an analytic self-map of the open unit disc in the complex plane, the generalized composition operator C_φ^((n))is defined by
C_φ^((n))f= f^((n) )o φ for f belonging to some Hilbert space of analytic functions on U. In this paper, we investigate some properties of generalized composition operators on the weighted Hardy spaces. Then we obtain adjoints of generalized composition operators with linear fractional symbol acting on the Hardy, Bergman and Dirichlet spaces.

On a ρ_n-dilation of operator in Hilbert spaces

In this paper we define the class of ρ_n-dilations for operators on Hilbert spaces. We give various properties of this new class extending several known results ρ-contractions. Some applications are also given.
