Las altas capacidades. Estudio de caso

Abstract

Partiendo de que la atención a la diversidad incluye la atención a todos y todas, las altas capacidades debieran tenerse en cuenta, visibilizarse, diagnosticarse y atenderse ofreciendo respuestas ajustadas a las necesidades de estas personas. Es necesaria la detección que facilitará la planificación e implementación de recursos, soportes y programas de intervención educativa que nos permitirán ofrecer tanto una adecuada calidad de atención educativa como el bienestar personal y social de los alumnos de altas capacidades. En este artículo se presenta el estudio de un caso único, su diagnóstico y posibles vías de actuación, así como estrategias complementarias a las que se utilizaron que permitan mejorar las acciones psicoeducativas necesarias.

Based on the fact that the diversity outreach includes attention to everyone, the highly-gifted should be taken into consideration, making them visible, diagnosed and attended, offering the adequate response to meet these persons’ needs. It is necessary to have a detection system that will make easier the planning and implementation of resources, support and educational intervention programs which will allow us to offer both an adequate educational attention quality and the personal and social welfare of highly-gifted students. This article presents a case study, its diagnose and the possible courses of action as well as strategies that are complementary to the ones used to facilitate an improvement of necessary psycho-educational actions.
