Conflictos territoriales y luchas fronterizas en América Latina durante los siglos XIX y XX

Abstract

Tras las guerras por la independencia y la formación de los estados nacionales en América Latina estallaron por doquier toda clase de conflictos fronterizos. A lo largo de los siglos XIX y XX proliferaron los litigios, disputas e, incluso, guerras relacionadas con problemas de límites, rayas y fronteras. Se analizan en este artículo su cronología, localización geográfica, manifestaciones y factores causales.

After the wars by the independence and the formation of the national states in Latin America, they exploded all class of border conflicts everywhere. Throughout XIX and XX centuries the litigations proliferated, disputes and, even, wars related to problems of limits and borders. Their chronology, geographic location, causes and factors are analyzed in this article.
