| Resumen: | En los primeros compases de la Guerra Civil española, la Marina Real Británica realizó una labor humanitaria
de gran importancia gracias a su capacidad logística y su potencial de guerra. Varios miles de españoles
consiguieron salvar la vida gracias a estas actividades. Entre otros, el historiador D. Vicente Cacho Viu, a quien
se rinde homenaje en estas páginas. From the very beginning of the Spanish Civil War, the British Royal Navy undertook a humanitarian task of crucial importance thanks to his huge size and logistical capabilities. The result of such undertaking was that several thousands of Spaniards were able to save their lifes in the middle of the conflict. Among them the historian D. Vicente Cacho Viu, a great intelectual figure homaged in this pages. |
