Abstract: La investigación evaluativa puede apoyar una profesión basada en la evidencia, en muchos campos de aplicación de la Psicología. Este tipo de investigación se caracteriza por su complejidad y requiere métodos, instrumentos de medición y estadísticas diferentes de las tradicionales basadas en estrategias adecuadas para estudios de laboratorio. En el artículo se presentarán algunas cuestiones metodológicas, por ejemplo, la necesidad de enfoques de investigación-acción y de técnicas multidimensionales y/o análisis acumulativos de datos. Deben proponerse estrategias y técnicas innovadoras para estudiar la eficacia y la eficiencia de las aplicaciones psicológicas.The evaluative research can support an evidence-based profession, in many fields of application of psychology. This kind of research is characterized by complexity, and requires methods, measurement instruments, and statistics different from the traditional ones based on strategies suitable for laboratory studies. Some methodological issues will be presented in the article, e.g., the need of action-research approaches and of multidimensional techniques and/or cumulative analyses of data. Innovative strategies and techniques have to be proposed for studying the efficacy and efficiency of psychological applications.
