Abstract: | La arqueología proporciona la fuente más importante para interpretar la economía antigua. El documento analiza la economía del consumo de aceite de oliva en Gran Bretaña y el papel del ejército. Luego se estudian las evidencias arqueológicas, las ánforas de Dressel 20, concluyendo que la economía antigua combinaba características de mercado y economía política. Archeology provides the most important source for interpreting the ancient economy. The paper discusses the economics of olive oil consumption in Britain and the role of the army. The archaeologycal evidence, Dressel 20 amphorae are then studied, concluding, that ancient economyc mixed market and command economy features. |
