Laudatio al Excmo. Sr . D. Antonio Hernández Gil en el acto de su investidura de Doctor Honoris causa por la Universidad de Extremadura.

Abstract

Se toman aquí en consideración precisamente aquellos méritos personales y científicos del maestro Hernández Gil, que si bien le hicieron singularmente idóneo para ocupar tan relevantes puestos, le acreditaron como persona señera ante la comunidad universitaria, casi siempre cicatera en el reconocimiento del mérito personal, como humanista y jurista, así como por su capacidad de conjugar de modo dificilmente superable la indagación teórica de la ciencia del Derecho con la práctica de la misma como brillante y eficaz abogado; una envidiable síntesis que sólo puede ser fruto de una poderosa inteligencia, de una abrumadora capacidad de trabajo y de una curiosidad por el entorno científico y cultural, prendas que siempre alhajaron el itinerario intelectual, docente y profesional del Doctor Hemández Gil.
