| Abstract: | Intoxicación aguda por plomo en el perro: Caso clínico La intoxicación por plomo en perros se diagnostica desde hace 30 años en medicina veterinaria. La etiología más frecuente de este proceso son las pinturas de plomo, soldaduras, trozos de tubería y otros objetos que contengan este metal. Esto hace que la frecuencia de presentación de esta intoxicación sea más elevada en los animales jóvenes por sus particulares hábitos de morder toda clase de objetos, aunque puede presentarse a cualquier edad ( 1-3). Acute lead poisoning in dogs: Clinical case Lead poisoning in dogs has been diagnosed for 30 years in veterinary medicine. The most frequent etiology of this process is lead paint, solder, pieces of pipe and other objects that contain this metal. This means that the frequency of presentation of this poisoning is higher in young animals due to their particular habits of biting all kinds of objects, although it can occur at any age ( 1-3). |
