Valoración instrumental y ejercicio terapéutico en patología de rodilla

Abstract

Estudio sobre el control postural y equilibrio y su relación con diferentes patologías de origen neurológico, ortopédico, vestibular y en personas mayores. Éstas obtienen mejorías cuantitativas y cualitativas por un tratamiento rehabilitador que potencie estas capacidades y que a su vez repercutan en una mejora en la funcionalidad de las personas para sus actividades de la vida diaria (AVD), su postura y la marcha. Ante esto, la valoración del control postural y equilibrio adquiere especial relevancia, ya que permite orientar las intervenciones terapéuticas en aquellos pacientes con limitaciones en el control postural y el equilibrio.

Study on postural control and balance and their relationship with different pathologies of neurological, orthopaedic and vestibular origin in the elderly. These obtain quantitative and qualitative improvements through rehabilitation treatment that enhances these abilities and which in turn have an impact on improving the functionality of people in their activities of daily living (ADL), posture and gait. In view of this, the assessment of postural control and balance takes on special relevance, as it allows therapeutic interventions to be oriented in those patients with limitations in postural control and balance.
