Estudio ecográfico de los órganos que pueden interferir en la correcta visualización hepática en el perro

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio ecográfico del hígado en 24 perros adultos sanos, de diferentes sexos, edades y razas, con el fin de describir la frecuencia de aparición de aquellos órganos próximos topográficamente y que pueden interferir en su estudio. El corazón aparece con una frecuencia baja, del 8,33%, a la derecha de la imagen, fácilmente reconocible por sus latidos y por su forma irregular. Los riñones aparecen con la misma frecuencia (8,33%), en el margen superior izquierdo de la imagen en el caso del riñón derecho y al contrario en el izquierdo. El estómago aparece más frecuentemente (29, 16%), a la derecha de la imagen, y supone una importante interferencia al paso de los ultrasonidos por el gas que contiene. El bazo, por último, aparece en el 16,66% de los casos, superpuesto al hígado y a la derecha de la imagen.

A ecographic study of the liver of 24 healthy adult dogs, of diferent sex and breed, was made. The aim of this study was to describe the frequency of appearance of those organs topographically close to the liver, which could interfere with the study of this organ. The heart appears with a low frequency, 8,33%, at the right of the image, easily recognizable by the beats and the irregular shape. The kidneys appear with the same frequency (8,33%), in the left margin on the top of the image in the case of the right kidney, and the opposite is true with the left kidney. The stomach appears very frequently (29, 16%), at the right of the image, and because of the content of gas, this organ is an interference to ultrasounds. Finally, the spleen appears in the 16,66% of the cases, superimposed to the liver and the right of the image.
