Une héroïne à la mesure d'une autobiographie

Abstract

Este artículo es una aproximación al primer libro de memorias de Simone de Beauvoir, "Mémoires d'une jeune fille rangée", desde la perspectiva de las doctrinas psicoanalíticas de A. Adler. No es intención del escritor sugerir algún tipo de psicopatología en esta mujer excepcional; el objetivo es, más bien, demostrar que, más allá de un control supuestamente total de la conciencia -como el género autobiográfico trataría de exponer- aquí y allí revela el inconsciente, la estructura y los modelos de percepción de una cultura en la que los conceptos de inferioridad y superioridad están estrechamente relacionados con la feminidad y la masculinidad, respectivamente. A pesar de la actitud rebelde de la autora de la "sexe deuxieme", Simone, la heroína de "Mémoires d'une jeune fille rangée", muestra una necesidad casi obsesiva de la autoafirmación y la seguridad.

This article is an approach to the first book of memoirs by Simone de Beauvoir, “Mémoires d’une jeune fille range”, from the perspective of A. Adler's psychoanalytic doctrines. It is not the writer's intention to suggest any kind of psychopathology in this exceptional woman; the aim is, rather, to show that, beyond a supposedly total control of consciousness —as the autobiographical genre would attempt to exhibit— here and there the unconscious reveals the structure and the models of perception of a culture in which the concepts of inferiority and superiority are closely related to femininity and masculinity respectively. Despite the rebellious attitude of the author of the “Deuxiéme sexe”, Simone, the heroine of “Mémoires d’une jeune fille range”, shows an almost obsessive need for self-assertion and security.
