Discapacidad e intervención familiar

Abstract

Los padres juegan un papel importante en relación con sus hijos, y más si éstos tienen algún tipo de discapacidad, su colaboración, constituyen el primer punto de referencia y de apoyo del niño. Por ello, excluirles del proceso de rehabilitación o considerarles meros mediadores activos supone, en primer lugar, no poder contar con información útil y, en segundo lugar, reducir posiblemente la efectividad de los resultados.

Parents play an important role in relation to their children, especially if they have a disability, their collaboration, the first point of reference and support the child. Therefore, excluded from the process of rehabilitation or active mediators regarded as mere means, first, not having information useful and, secondly, possibly decrease the effectiveness of the results.
