Claves lingüísticas y literarias en la narrativa de J.K. Rowling y de U.K. Le Guin para el fomento de la lectura: Análisis de las versiones en español de la saga de Terramar y de las aventuras de Harry Potter

Abstract

El abrumador éxito de las aventuras de Harry Potter dio lugar a un debate sobre la calidad literaria de la serie. Por otro lado las múltiples referencias que los libros de Rowling acogen de la saga de Terramar alimentaron cuestiones referentes a las influencias de una escritora en otra y a la recreación de estas.

En esta investigación se realiza un análisis comparativo de la narrativa de J. K. Rowling y U. K. Le Guin y se examinan las relaciones intertextuales de la serie Harry Potter y la primera trilogía de Terramar en sus versiones en español para descubrir cuales son las claves lingúísticas y literarias que caracterizan las narraciones. El estudio expone las numerosas coincidencias y algunas divergencias que aparecen en las obras y describe las técnicas narrativas de las autoras a fin de averiguar las razones de la enorme aceptación que han tenido los libros de Harry Potter.

El descubrimiento de estas claves supone acceder a una herramienta más para la promoción de la lectura y por tanto para la educación lingüística y literaria de los niños y adultos.

The overwhelming success of the adventures of Harry Potter gave rise to a debate about the literary quality of the series. On the other hand the multiple references that the Rowling´s books host from the Earthsea saga books fed issues to one writer in other influences and the recreation of those influences. In this study a comparative analysis of the narrative of J K Rowling and U. K. Le Guin is presented and intertextual relations of the Harry Potter series and the first trilogy Earthsea in its Spanish versions are examined to discover the linguistic and literary keys that characterize the narrations. The study exposes the many coincidences and some divergence appearing in works and describes the narrative techniques of the authors in order to ascertain the reasons for the great acceptance that the Harry Potter books have had.

The discovery of these keys is one of the tools for the promotion of reading and therefore for the linguistic and literary education of children and adult people.
