De Laclos a de Graeve: Intertextualidad y francofonía

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la re lectura que realiza Laurent De Graeve, novelista belga recientemente fallecido, del gran clásico del siglo XVIII de la literatura francesa del hexágono, Les liaisons dangereuses de Choderlos de Laclos. De Graeve retoma los mismos personajes de la novela epistolar de Laclos, dando otra oportunidad de expresarse a Mrne de Merteuil, después de los hechos acontecidos en la obra del XVIII. El interés de la novela de De Graeve reside en cómo reutiliza los materiales ofrecidos por Laclos, para componer otra obra con los medios literarios de expresión del siglo XXI.

The aim ofthis article is to analyse the re-reading ofLaurent De Graeve, the recently-deceased Belgian novelist, of the great 18th century classic of metropolitan French literature, Les liaisons dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos. De Graeve retakes the same characters of Laclos' epistolary novel, giving Mme de Merteuil another chance to express herself after the events in the 18th centurypiece. De Graeve 's interest in the novel hes in how the materials offered by Laclos are reused to forrn another work with the literary means of expression of the 21 st century.
