| Abstract: | La investigación sobre el retablo español ha insistido hasta ahora más en los aspectos pictóricos, escultóricos y decorativos que en los arquitectónicos. Menos estudiadas están, aún, las relaciones del retablo con la arquitectura circundante, por lo que esta cuestión se contempla actualmente como una nueva línea de investigación en la retablística española. Research on the Spanish altarpiece has until now insisted more on the pictorial, sculptural and decorative aspects than on the architectural ones. Less studied are still the relationships of the altarpiece with the surrounding architecture, which is why this issue is currently considered as a new line of research in Spanish altarpieces. |
