Relaciones de intercambio artístico entre España y Portugal. 1940-1950

Abstract

Contrariando la idea inicial que pudiéramos abrigar sobre la determinación de un acercamiento cultural propiciado por la proximidad geográfica, nos encontramos con el caso de España y Portugal. Aunque dentro del sistema de relaciones instaurado entre ambos países se admiten ciertos acercamientos, la tónica dominante a lo largo del siglo XX ha sido una ignorancia mutua.

Contrary to the initial idea that we might harbor about the determination of a cultural rapprochement fostered by geographical proximity, we find the case of Spain and Portugal. Although certain rapprochements are admitted within the system of relations established between the two countries, the dominant trend throughout the 20th century has been mutual ignorance.
