La importancia del clero en la acción educativa según el obispo José Antonio de San Alberto (Charcas, 1786-1810)

Abstract

Se estudia el modo de operar con los indígenas del clero religioso y diocesano en zonas de Bolivia y Argentina tras la expulsión de los jesuitas. Se analizan los contenidos de varios documentos del obispo José Antonio de San Alberto en relación con la formación del clero y de los indígenas de Charcas, Bolivia. Se destaca el valor concedido por este obispo a la formación permanente del clero para tener éxito en sus acciones misionales.

Discusses how to operate with the indigenous people of the religious and diocesan clergy in areas of Bolivia and Argentina after the expulsion of the Jesuits. We analyze the contents of several documents of the bishop José Antonio de San Alberto in relation to the formation of the clergy and the indigenous people of ponds, Bolivia. Emphasizes the value given by the bishop to the continuous training of the clergy to be successful in their missionary actions.
