Beneficios de las relaciones intergeneracionales

Abstract

Estamos asistiendo en las últimas décadas a una profunda transformación tecnológica que esta cambiando en gran medida la sociedad de los países desarrollados, y entre ellos se encuentra España. Esta evolución social afecta a una de sus estructuras fundamentales, la familia, y las relaciones entre sus miembros. Nuestro interés se centra precisamente en los cambios familiares y en las relaciones que mantienen sus componentes, específicamente en las relaciones intergeneracionales entre abuelos y nietos, y como queda definido el nuevo rol o funciones del abuelo con su nieto, y los beneficios que presenta la relación para ambas partes.

We are attending in the last decades a deep technological transformation that this changing to agreat extent the society of the developed countries, and among them is Spain. This social evolution affects to one of its fundamental structures, the family, and the relations between its members. Our interest is centered indeed in the familiar changes and the relations that maintain their components, specifically in the intergenerational relations between grandparents and grandsons, and as it is defined the new roll or functions of the grandfathers with his grandson, and the benefits that the relation for both parts presents/displays.
