Presencia del pensamiento Kuhniano en la literatura científica: 1966-1995

Abstract

Kuhn ha tenido una gran repercusión en el ámbito de la filosofía de la ciencia, en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. En este trabajo se hace una búsqueda retrospectiva de la producción literaria científica sobre la teoría kuhniana, que se ha escrito durante los años 1966-1995. Tras realizar la búsqueda en un serie de bases de datos internacionales, los resultados demostraron que el período de años en el que más documentos fueron publicados con respecto al tema en cuestión, se engloba dentro de la década de los 70, coincidiendo con una serie de obras publicadas por Kuhn y por conferencias que tuvieron por objeto la discusión que suscitó su teoría. Teniendo en cuenta los datos obtenidos del estudio bibliométrico, vemos cómo a partir de 1984 la producción documental desciende, pero sigue encontrándose por encima de los 20 documentos anuales, llegando a la conclusión, de que la influencia ejercida por Kuhn aún se mantiene aunque en menor medida.

Kuhn has had a great repercussion in the environment of the philosophy of science, in the second half of the 20th century. In this work a retrospective search of the scientific production is made on the kuhnian theory that has been written during the years 1966-1995. After carrying out the search in a series of international databases, the results demonstrated that the period when more documents were published with regard to the topic in question, is in the 70s, coinciding with a series of works published by Kuhn, and with conferences that had as their objective the discussion that raised their theory. Keeping in mind the data obtained from bibliometric study, we see that starting from 1984, the documentary production descends, but it continues being above 20 documents per year, reaching the conclusion, that the influence still exercised by Kuhn remains, although in a smaller measure.
