This study represents some criticism of Fillmore's theory of cases in the form it appears in Pottier. These two-level theories are a logicist and dualistic response to contradictory cases. These theories are based on the universalism of immutability which is, on principle, impervious to contradiction. Contrary to such theses, the notion of operative time stemming from the psychomechanics of language enables to develop the physics of cases based on the universality of movement.
