El discurso tecnocientífico

Abstract

El discurso tecnocientífico se ha caracterizado tradicionalmente como una modalidad de escritura especializada, objetiva, neutra e impersonal, destinada a la producción e intercambio de saberes entre pares de un campo de conocimiento. Sin embargo, en las últimas décadas, disciplinas como el análisis del discurso, la retórica, la lingüística textual y la sociología de la ciencia han sometido a discusión la concepción referencialista y aséptica del lenguaje tecnocientífico mediante trabajos sobre la voz subjetiva del autor, los mecanismos argumentativos, los marcadores discursivos o los modelos de redes metafóricas. En este capítulo se analizarán y discutirán los rasgos constitutivos de este discurso atendiendo a sus herramientas terminológicas y a su paradigma textual más representativo: el artículo de investigación.

Technoscientific discourse has traditionally been characterized as a specialized, objective, neutral and impersonal form of writing, intended for the production and exchange of knowledge among peers in a field of knowledge. However, in recent decades, disciplines such as discourse analysis, rhetoric, textual linguistics and sociology of science have challenged the referentialist and aseptic conception of technoscientific language through works on the author's subjective voice, argumentative mechanisms, discursive markers or metaphorical network models. In this chapter, the constitutive features of this discourse will be analyzed and discussed in terms of its terminological tools and its most representative textual paradigm: the research article.
