Identificación electrónica en ibéricos semiextensivos. Parte II: lecturas dinámicas

Abstract

Se comprueba la posible idoneidad de la identificación electrónica (IDE), en condiciones dinámicas, asociada a un tipo específico de crotales en dos grupos de cerdos ibéricos en condiciones de semiextensividad. Por un lado, 300 cerdas madres en fase reproductiva y, por otro, 300 lechones destinados a cebo. La validación de la IDE se hizo con la ayuda de manga de manejo y antena circular específica mediante lecturas dinámicas programadas durante un año, siguiendo las pautas del protocolo establecido por el CEIEA (Comité Español de Identificación Electrónica Animal) y valorando los resultados de acuerdo con lo indicado por el ICAR (International Comité for Animals Recording). Los resultados obtenidos cumplen de manera indubitada con lo exigido por el ICAR.

The possible suitability of electronic identification (IDE), under dynamic conditions, associated with a specific type of ear tags, is tested in two groups of Iberian pigs under semi-extensive conditions. On the one hand, 300 mother sows in the reproductive phase and, on the other, 300 piglets destined for fattening. The validation of the IDE was validated with the help of a handling sleeve and a specific circular antenna by means of dynamic readings programmed for one year, following the guidelines of the protocol established by the SCEAI (Spanish Committee for Electronic Animal Identification) and evaluating the results in accordance with what is indicated by the ICAR (International Committee for Animal Recording). The results obtained unquestionably comply with the requirements of the ICAR.
