Arquitectura y Educación. Una hermenéutica de los espacios en clave pedagógica

Abstract

En el presente trabajo abordamos las relaciones que en pedagogía se dan entre espacio y educación, tanto en perspectiva histórica como teórica, partiendo de la premisa de que los espacios en donde los sujetos habitan afectan no solo a lo que aprenden sino también al cómo lo hacen. El espacio educativo se convierte en un recurso pedagógico, donde se hace preciso comprender, valorar e interpretar los espacios en y desde los sujetos. Se presenta el trabajo desde una perspectiva hermenéutica de los espacios, siendo conscientes de que la interpretación de los espacios educativos desde una hermenéutica pedagógica, no está exenta de los propios riesgos de este enfoque, y entre ellos se encuentra comprometida la validez y objetividad. No obstante, en las páginas que siguen se abordará el papel de los espacios como entes educativos y su importancia en la interpretación de los procesos educativos.

In this paper we address the relationships that exist between space pedagogy and education, on the premise that the spaces in which the subjects live affect not only the learning but also the how. The educational space becomes an educational resource where do need to understand, evaluate and interpret the spaces and from the subjects. The work is presented from a hermeneutic perspective of space, being aware that the interpretation of educational spaces from a pedagogical hermeneutics, is not without risks of this approach themselves, and among them is committed the validity and objectivity. However, in the following pages, the role of space as educational entities and their importance in the interpretation of the educational process will be addressed.
