La locura divina de “Eros” en el “Fedro” de Platón

Abstract

El artículo muestra la poética expresión del amor platónico en el “Fedro”, aunque apareció en el “Lisis” y tuvo su manifestación festiva en el “Banquete”. En el “Fedro”, en un paisaje lleno de sensualidad, Sócrates escucha un discurso erótico de Lisias y responde con otro, más perfecto, defendiendo una visión utilitarista del amor. Pero, de repente, la voz que le habla le invita a hacer un elogio de “Eros”, al que describe en unas páginas de sublime poesía como una locura divina que transforma los ojos y el corazón del amante y le hace volar hasta la contemplación gozosa de la belleza del bien amado..

The article shows the poetic expression of the platonic love in the “Phaedrus”, although it appeared in the “Lisis” and it had its festive manifestation in the “Symposium”. In the Fedro, in a full landscape of sensuality, Sócrates listens to a erotic speech of Lysias and responds with another one, more perfect, defending a utilitarian vision of love.
