Abstract: Estudio histórico que repasa los puntos fundamentales de la devoción a la Virgen de Guadalupe con ocasión de los cien años de la promulgación del Rescripto “Beatissimam Virginem” concedido por el Papa Pío X, declarando y constituyendo a la Beatísima Virgen María de Guadalupe, celestial Patrona principal de toda la Región de Extremadura.
This work is an historical study that outlines the fundamental points on which the devotion to the Virgin of Guadalupe is based. This study has been carried out on the occasion of the hundredth-year anniversary of the promulgation of the rescript “Beatissimam Virginem”, which was granted by the Pope Pius X. In this rescript, Pius X declares the Blessed Virgin Mary of Guadalupe the main Patron Saint of all Extremadura.
