El "Clarimundo" de João de Barros. Perspectivas para el análisis lingüístico de una obra portuguesa del siglo XVI

Abstract

El presente estudio trata de establecer los principios que deben ser considerados para llevar a cabo los análisis lingüísticos de Clarimundo de Joao de Barros. Así pues, en esta rápida visión se muestran algunos problemas . Una visión que el siglo XVI muestra las diferentes teorías que existen en la materia. En este artículo se ensalza la importancia de esta novela para la configuración de las características lingüísticas que tendrá la prosa literaria del siglo XVI pero advirtiendo la indudable distancia que puede haber entre su lenguaje y el hablado en aquél tiempo.

The present study tries to establish the principles that must be considered to carry out the linguistic analysis of Clarimundo by Joao de Barros. So that, it is a fast vision about some problems in shown. A vision that the 16th century implants and the different theories that exist in the matter. In this article is emphasized the importance of this novel for the configuration of linguistic characteristics which will have the literary prose in the 16th century, but it is warned about the undoubted distance that can be between its language and spoken language at that time.
