Abstract: | En el presente artículo pretendo mostrar como la virtud de la humildad es entendida por San Agustín como radicalmente necesaria cuando le mueve a uno el deseo de alcanzar y gozar la verdad. Sin ella no son posibles ni la fe, ni la esperanza, ni la caridad, como tampoco una auténtica filosofía. In this article I intend to show how St Augustine understood the virtue of humility as essentially necessary in order to reach and enjoy the truth. Without the virtue of humility neither faith, nor hope, charity, nor real philosophy are possible. |
