Implicaciones educativas de la Reforma y Contrarreforma en la Europa del Renacimiento

Abstract

Es durante el Renacimiento cuando aparece una nueva forma de entender el mundo y la educación, favorecido sin duda por el cambio de ideas y de concepción del hombre y de Dios. Sin embargo, será precisamente la concepción de Dios la que cambie el mapa político, social, religioso y también educativo de toda Europa, y sus repercusiones y consecuencias resultan muy importantes para la comprensión de la Europa del Antiguo Régimen y la actual. La Reforma protestante deparó grandes cambios en el mapa político de Europa. La educación, nunca ajena a los acontecimientos humanos, también se convirtió en campo de batalla, siendo en ocasiones muy similar entre ambos bandos para distanciarse abrumadoramente en otras.A lo largo de las páginas que componen este artículo, haremos un recorrido histórico-educativo por la Europa del Renacimiento, y las implicaciones educativas que tuvo la ruptura de Lutero.

It was during the Renaissance when a new way of understanding the world and education, helped, no doubt, by the exchange of ideas and conception of man and God.
