The main objective of this study was to analyze the performance of the model by comparing direct game and game combined model, that is to say, knowing which of the two models generates more chances. For this we have used a sample of 29 matches of the UEFA Champions League in the 2012-2013 season from eights to the final. As a secondary objective the influence on the greater or lesser use of both models depending on certain variables analyzed; marker (to be winning, drawing or losing), playing at home or away, the time period in which the match is found, if the last pass is a center, whether or not the action ends in a goal and playing at a disadvantage. The results obtained reflected that of the 210 shares, 122 used the model of direct game and 88 the combined game. The influence of marker affect if you go for a tying or winning goal, two or more, that the most used model is the direct game (42-35, 33-11 and 26-13 respectively), however , when you lose one, two or more goals, the most used model is the combined game (10-11 and 11-18 respectively). The most used whether it plays home and away, is the direct model game (60-49 local and 54-34 away). For the variable "match time", in the time periods 0-15, 15-30, 30-45, 45-60 and 75-90 premium increased use of direct game (24, 19, 22, 18 and 23 shares, respectively), but in the 60-75 period the number of shares (25) combined model of game is higher. No significant differences between a model and another for the variable "centers" were found. Similarly happened with the variable "game situation", because of the small number of shares, no significant results were found.
