We analyzed the cases of assimilation produced by the ignition of the consonants -n and -r, at the end of the word, with the prepositions en, con y por (per) with the liquid side l- in articles and pronouns in old lions language. The data come from the linguistic analysis of the Fuero Juzgo, mid-thirteenth century, (escurialense Z. III. 21), from the western area of the province of León. This phenomenon is especially widespread in the western part of León.
