Educación no formal en los centros de protección a la infancia. Análisis de una experiencia

Abstract

Educar es un camino de largo recorrido donde se entrecruzan distintas historias, experiencias, motivaciones y expectativas. ser educador de menores en protección, supone unir las experiencias de presentes insatisfechos con futuros inciertos. Ser educador exige unir el presente desde la perspectiva del final del trayecto, con una actitud de acompañamiento responsable y motivador de expectativas de jóvenes en proceso de convertirse en adultos. A pesar de las transformaciones de los últimos treinta años, sigue persistiendo la sensación de que las instituciones residenciales para la infancia están pasadas de moda. Los datos que presentamos, tanto de nuestra propia investigación como las de otros autores, ofrecen resultados positivos y esperanzadores para esta modalidad de educación no formal de niños, niñas y jóvenes en contextos residenciales de protección infantil.

To educate is a long way gone where are crossing diferents histories, experiences, motivations and expectancies. To be an educationalist of youngers in protection means to unite the experiencies of dissatisfied presents with uncertain futures. To be an educationalist demands to unite the present from the prospect of the end of the route with an attitude of responsible accompanying and motivation of expectancies of youngers in her process to become adult. In spite of the transformations of the last thirty years it keeps on persisting the sensation, that the residentials institutions are old-fashioned. The pieces of information we present both of our own investigation and these from other authors, offer positive and encouraging results for this form of not formal education of boys, girls and youngers in residentials contexts of infantile protection.
