Construcción y sentido del teatro de Carlos Muñiz

Abstract

Hay dos circunstancias que tienen mucho que ver con la historia del dramaturgo Carlos Muñiz: por un lado, su vinculación con los grupos de cámara o grupos independientes, no comerciales, de aquellos años (sus dos primeros estrenos estuvieron a cargo, respectivamente,del Teatro de Ensayo de la Escuela Oficial de Periodismo y de la Compañía del Teatro Nacional de Cámara y Ensayo). Por otra, que su tercer estreno-fundamental en su trayectoria -El Tintero- fue una creación del «Grupo de Teatro Realista», como uno de los tres ejemplos en los que quiso Sastre basar la defensa de un realismo en profundidad, al margen de un naturalismo costumbrista excesivamente fotográfico.

There are two circumstances that have much to do with the history of Muñiz playwright: on the one hand, its relationship with the chamber groups or independent groups, non-commercial of those years (their first two releases were in charge, respectively, Teatro de Ensayo de la Escuela Oficial de Periodismo and the Compañía del Teatro Nacional de Cámara y Ensayo). On the other hand, its third premiere fundamental in its long history - the Inkwell - was a creation of the "Group of realistic Theater", as one of the three examples in which Satre wanted to base the defense of a realism in depth, outside a excessively photographic naturalism.
