Anotaciones sobre el léxico de M. Cornelio Frontón

Abstract

Con una primera lectura de los escritos de M. Cornelio Frontón se puede advertir en ellos una evidente riqueza léxica. A la abundancia y variedad de vocablos hemos de añadir, además, la tonalidad que revisten: por una parte, el gusto por lo arcaico y, en ocasiones, la renovación, el gusto por lo nuevo, la creación de nuevos términos.

In a first reading of the writings of M. Cornelius frontispiece we can warn in a clear lexical richness. In the abundance and variety of words we have to add, in addition, the tonality that it has: on the one hand, the taste for archaic and, sometimes, the renewal, the taste of what is new, the creation of new terms.
