Sobre la expresión de lo "superlativo" en español (IV)

Abstract

Este artículo pertenece a un estudio más amplio sobre el superlativo en el idioma español. En otro volumen previo de esta misma revista se analizaron las expresiones morfológicas, léxicas y sintagmáticas. Ahora, el análisis comenzó en el número anterior, se enriquece con más detalles sobre las sentencia exclamativas también como estructuras con significados superlativos. Se ofrecen cinco estructuras con fines didácticos: 1.-Estructuras exclamativas, introducidas por elementos exclamativos. 2.-Estructuras exclamativas con ausencia de oración subordinada. 3.-Estructura exclamativa resultante de la inexistencia de una oración principal. 4.-Oraciones exclamativas indirectas. 5.-Estructuras retóricas que presuponen un significado exclamativo.

This paper belongs to a broader study on the way the content of superlative degree evinces in the Spanish Language. In other previous volumes of this same review, the morphemical, lexical, and syntagmatical expression was already analyzed. Now the analysis, begun in the previous number, is enriched with more details about exclamative sentences as well, as about structures corresponding to superlative meaning. For didactic purposes, five types of exclamation structures are offered: 1.- Exclamative structures introduced by exclamation elements. 2.- Exclamative structures formed by the absence of a subordinate clause. 3. - Exclamative structures resulting from the inexistence of the principal clause. 4.- Indirect exclamative clauses. 5. - Rhetorical interrogative structures which imply an exclamation meaning.
