Historia de la legislación visigótica

Abstract

El tema a tratar es la imposibilidad de trazar una historia de la legislación visigótica que engarce en forma plausible todos los elementos relativos a ella que se conservan y colme las lagunas que se advierten. Para comprender bien tal problema, es preciso separar dos niveles de información, por un lado la enumeración de cuáles son aquellos elementos, por otro pasar revista a las hipótesis que se han formulado sobre las posibles relaciones entre ellos.

The topic to be discussed is the inability to trace a history of the Visigothic legislation and to organize all the elements relating to it that are preserved and be able to organize them. To understand the problem well, it is necessary to separate two lines of information, first enumerating what are those elements, on the other hand to review the assumptions that have been made on the possible relationships between them.
