Abstract

Las obras de Achternbusch son un gran monólogo, una corriente de palabras e imágenes con la que trata de captar, una y otra vez, su historia y la educación de su familia, así como en las instituciones sociales. El núcleo de su manera de escribir no es sólo la conmemoración, sino más bien la oleada de sentimientos al escribir; Los libros de Achternbusch -el único gran libro que está creando, no es una autobiografía. Los sentimientos no pueden ser recordados; Incluso mientras escribía, se desarrollan nuevas y diferentes emociones; por lo tanto, de la combinación de pasado y presente surge algo nuevo, es decir, la imagen que Achternbusch inventa para su vida. Para Achternbusch, el proceso de la escritura es la poesía, vivida y practicada, de acuerdo con la ética surrealistas. Búsqueda radical del individuo por sí mismo conduce necesariamente a una confrontación con la sociedad, cuyas instituciones han dado forma a cada uno de nosotros. Achternbusch's works are one great monologue, a stream of words and images with which he tries to capture, again and again, his history and up bringing in his family as well as in social institutions. The nucleus of his manner of writing is not just Remembrance, but rather the surge of feelings while writing; Achternbusch's books -the one great book which he is creating-are not autobiography. Feelings cannot be remembered; even while writing, new and different emotions- develop; thus, past and present merge into something new, that is, the imagen that Achternbusch invents for his life. For Achternbusch, the process of writing is poetry, lived and practised, according to the surrealist ethics. The individual's radical search for himself leads necessarily to a confrontation with society, whose institutions have shaped every single one of us. Achternbusch's writing had to confront the history of fascism in Germany which, although officially now a thing of the past, has never been really overcome emotionally. The withholding of a film promotion award from Achternbusch, originally granted to him by the Ministry of the Interior, is fitting reply on the part of the powers that be of the state to Achternbuch's poetics. Thus Achternbusch's poetics has become a touchstone of artistic freedom in the Federal Republic of Germany.
