El auge del cantar popular, 1850-1900. Colecciones anónimas e imitaciones cultas

Abstract

Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, un aumento significativo de lírica folklórica se llevó a cabo en dos direcciones : Aficionados y eruditos reunieron y publicaron líricas anónimas, y muchos poetas las imitaron y publicaron sus trabajos en libros y revistas bajo su nombre. La mejora literaria da paso a una nueva apreciación de letras llenas de lirismo como piezas poéticas en sí mismas, independientemente de la canción, y es de esta manera que se introdujeron en la literatura como una nueva tendencia en el complejo fondo poético de la época. Este tipo de lírica contribuyó a la renovación de la poesía a finales del siglo hacia estilos simples y naturales que precedieron al «neopopularismo» de los poetas en del 27 .

During the second half of the XIX century, a significant rise of folle lyrics took place in two directions: Amateurs and scholars collected and published anonymous lyrics, and many poets imitated them and published their work in books and journals under their name. The literary improvement gives way to a new appreciation of full lyrics as poetic pieces in themselves, independent of the song, and is this way they were introduced in Literature as a new trend in the complex poetical background of the era. This type of lyrics thus contributed to the renovation of poetry at the end of the Century towards simple and natural styles which came before the «neopopularism» of the poets of 27.
