Abstract

El diputado socialista por Badajoz, Juan Simeón Vidarte, tuvo una trayectoria política brillante durante la Segunda República española y posterior Guerra Civil, desempeñando puestos de gran responsabilidad. Sin embargo, oscurecido por los principales lideres del Partido Socialista actuó desde una segunda línea política, pero siempre con una gran profesionalidad y sabiendo sobrevivir a las luchas internas del Partido, dado su carácter moderado y conciliador.
