Prácticas artísticas de mujeres de principios del siglo XXI

Abstract

El objetivo principal de la investigación es valorar las prácticas artísticas de mujeres de principios del S. XXI. Se analizan diferentes discursos de género, contextualizados dentro del arte feminista contemporáneo. A partir de una selección de obras realizadas por artistas mujeres, se analiza la imagen que el género ocupa en sus trabajos. El interés de ésta investigación es recoger eventos artísticos y exposiciones protagonizadas por mujeres artistas. En los últimos años se produjo un importante avance en las Ciencias Sociales, al incorporarse los denominados estudios de la mujer como un nuevo paradigma. Se toman como muestras de la relación entre el Género y la Historia del Arte, de la primera década del siglo XXI hasta el momento actual, protagonistas paradigmáticas como referentes de primer nivel, ubicadas en el Arte Contemporáneo Internacional. Se amplía la muestra a nivel nacional, y se comprueba que en Extremadura llegan estos discursos de género.

The main objective of the research is to evaluate the artistic practices of women in early S. XXI. We analyze various discourses of gender, contextualized within contemporary feminist art. From a selection of works by women artists, it analyzes the image that gender plays in their work. The interest of this research is to collect art events and exhibitions featuring women artists. In recent years there has been significant progress in the social sciences by joining the so-called women's studies as a new paradigm. Samples are taken as the relationship between gender and the History of Art, the first decade of the century to the present day, paradigmatic protagonists referents of first level, located in the International Contemporary Art. The national sample is wide, and it is checked if in Extremadura have arrived these gender speeches.
