La sanidad vegetal en España y el papel de la fisiología en su planteamiento de futuro

Abstract

El estudio y análisis de la historia de los fenómenos parasitarios realizado con este trabajo, ha tenido por objeto elegir las pautas más adecuadas por las que se debería guiar la creación de la profesión de la Medicina de las Plantas en España. Se han puesto en relieve aquellos personajes y obras que han sido esenciales en el inicio del desarrollo histórico de la Sanidad Vegetal española y se han valorado los distintos desarrollos evolutivos de las Sanidades, (Humana, Animal y Vegetal), estableciendo mediante procedimientos matemáticos las diferencias entre las mismas, con el rigor que nos proporcionan las más de 600 fuentes bibliográficas consultadas y cerca de 100 páginas de tablas cronológicas. Para la contextualización de la Sanidad Vegetal española con la Sanidad Vegetal universal, durante los siglos XIX y XX, se han registrado y analizado los hitos más importantes alcanzados en España y en el mundo de las disciplinas científicas participantes en etiología, epidemiología y terapéutica; siendo ampliados con una revisión legislativa del siglo XX concretada en más de 80 disposiciones. Los resultados del amplio estudio efectuado sobre la evolución en los dos últimos siglos de la Sanidad Vegetal Universal han sido incontrovertibles; ellos nos indican qué caminos y procedimientos científicos y organizativos han sido los más eficaces y los que deben servir para conseguir, por procedimientos sostenibles, la salud de los vegetales.

The study and analysis of the history of the parasitic phenomena realized with this work, it has taken as an object to choose the most suitable rules for which it would be necessary to guide the creation of the profession of the Medicine of the Plants in Spain. There have put themselves in relief those personages and works that have been essential in the beginning of the historical development of the Spanish Plant Health and there have been valued the different evolutionary developments of Healths, (Human, Animal and Plants), establishing by means of mathematical procedures the differences between the same ones, with the rigor that there provide to us more than 600 consulted bibliographical sources and nearly 100 pages of chronological stage. For the contextualization of the Spanish Plant Health with the universal Plant Health, during the XIXth and XXth centuries, they have registered and analyzed the most important milestones reached in Spain and in the world of the scientific disciplines taking part in etiology, epidemiology and therapeutics; being extended by a legislative review of the XXth century specified in more than 80 dispositions. The results of the wide study carried out on the evolution in last two centuries of the Universal Vegetable Health have been uncontrovertible; they indicate us what ways and scientific and organizational procedures have been the most effective and those who must serve to obtain, for sustainable procedures, the health of plants.
