De Nebrija al Brocense

Abstract

Nebrija fue quien termina con el tradicional sistema medieval de la enseñanza del latín en España. Su método se basó en el estudio del uso del latín en los grandes escritores clásicos tradicionales. Para obtener dicha renovación, este profesor de la Universidad de Salamanca, no pudo encontrar suficientes obras gramaticales en España. Por otro lado, se analiza la figura del Brocense y su influencia en otros autores.

Nebrija was who finishes with the traditional medieval system of the teaching of Latin in Spain. His method was based on the study of the usage of Latin in the great traditional classic writers. To obtain such renovation, this teacher of the University of Salamanca, could not find adequate grammatical works in Spain. On the other hand, is analyzed the Brocense and his influence on other writers.
