El "roman africain" y la melodía del "second chauffeur" parecen, no sólo en apariencia, ir en dirección contraria. Creemos que, entre otros elementos, contribuyen al desorden, a confundir el relato, a multiplicarlo y hacerlo ser imposible en su singularidad y en su totalidad. Al mismo tiempo constituyen una de las claves para descifrar el funcionamiento de la ficción, del texto y de la estructura de los celos. Nos muestran cómo esta melodía o "poéme" de Robbe-Grillet se ha generado.

The "Roman africain" and the melody of "second chauffeur" seem, not only in appearance, go in the opposite direction. We believe that, among other elements, it contributes to disorder, to confuse the story, to multiply and to do so impossible in its singularity and in its entirety.
