VideoData: uso de vídeos para el almacenamiento de datos

Abstract

La educación on-line es un tipo de educación a distancia que hace uso de Internet y junto a las tecnologías de información y comunicación con el objetivo de crear un proceso de aprendizaje. Ante el auge que ha tenido este tipo de educación surge este proyecto que pretende mejorar la educación a distancia con el desarrollo de una herramienta capaz de solucionar algunos problemas que existen todavía. No se puede hablar de educación on-line sin mencionar a los Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) que como su nombre indica son cursos masivos, online y gratuitos. Esta modalidad en sus inicios se pensó que servirían como herramienta democratizadora de la educación superior. Pero presenta algunos problemas que serán analizados, proponiendo una posible solución para mejorar algunas trabas que presenta.

VideoData es un sistema integrado que permite diseñar cursos on-line de una forma sencilla y utilizando una metodología de aprendizaje más interactiva con los alumnos.

Objetivos En este trabajo se han establecido una serie de objetivos principales a realizar, son los siguientes: • Estudiar los MOOCs y sus problemas. • Buscar una solución e implementarla. • El sistema debe ser fácil de utilizar. • Emplear en el sistema tecnologías aprendidas durante el grado GIIIS. • Orientar el sistema hacia la escalabilidad. • Centrar el sistema en la especialidad multimedia.

Education on-line is a type of distance education that makes use of the Internet and next to the information and communication technologies with the aim of creating a learning process. Before the boom that has had this type of education arises this project that aims to improve distance education with the development of a tool able to solve some problems that still exist. There can be no talk of education on-line without mentioning the massive Open Online Course (MOOC) as its name indicates are massive courses, online and free of charge. This modality in its beginnings it was thought that would serve as a tool of democratisation of higher education. But presents a few issues that will be analyzed, proposing a possible solution to improve some obstacles which presents. VideoData is an integrated system that allows you to design courses on-line in a simple way and using a more interactive learning methodology with the students. Objectives In this work we have established a series of major objectives to perform, are the following: • Study The MOOCs and their problems. • Search for a solution and deploy it. • The system should be easy to use. • Employ in the system technologies learned during the degree GIIIS. • Orient the system toward the scalability. • Focus the system in the specialty media.
