Obra gráfica de Wolf Vostell (1959-1979)

Abstract

El proceso creativo de Wolf Vostell se desarrolla en diferentes lenguajes expresivos que evolucionan, tanto en temática como en medios técnicos, en el tiempo. El artista amplia el concepto Dé-coll/age a la expresión gráfica, campo que se convierte en un ámbito de experimentación constante y de superposición de técnicas y conceptos. La versatilidad de las diferentes técnicas de impresión gráfica y, sobre todo de la serigrafía, facilita la trasposición de los interrogantes que el artista plantea en happenings, ambientes o conciertos al ámbito de la obra seriada, sin perder un instante de vista la realidad cotidiana y la constante llamada de atención a la conciencia del hombre.

Wolf Vostell’s creative process is developing in different expressive languages that evolve, as subjects as technical means, along time. The artist extends the concept «Dé-coll/age» to the graphic expression, that it’s a field of constant test and superposition of techniques and concepts. The versatility in differents graphics prints, and above all the silk-screen print, makes easier the move of the questions that the artist has put into happenings, environments or fluxus concerts, to the sphere of the graphic works of art, without losing sight of daily life and a constant alarm call to human conscience.
