Un vínculo especial, abuelo-nieto: una relación de confianza

Abstract

Este proyecto de Tesis Doctoral pretende llevar a cabo una investigación sobre la implicación, relación e importancia de las relaciones que hoy en día tienen los abuelos con sus nietos, conociendo con ello las aportaciones que se hacen ambas partes de la misma, donde conocemos los grandes beneficios que en dicho vínculo se obtienen. Importante es el papel de los abuelos en las familias actuales, donde están realizando un rol diferente al esperado, cargado de responsabilidades y obligaciones debido a los cambios sociales producidos en los últimos años donde son un soporte destacado e imprescindible en la situación socio-económica en la que nos encontramos. Por lo tanto, el objetivo principal es conocer, qué piensan los abuelos sobre la relación con sus hijos y sobre todo con sus nietos, al ser los “co-educadores” de los mismos, así como estudiar el rol que ejercen sobre ellos, analizando los sentimientos o sacrificios de este nuevo papel que están obligados a asumir.

This Doctoral Thesis project aims to carry out an investigation about the involvement, relationship and importance of the relationships that today have the grandparents with their grandchildren, knowing with it the contributions that are made both parts of the same, where we know the great benefits that are obtained in this link. Important is the role of grandparents in today's families, where they are performing a different role than expected, loaded with responsibilities and obligations due to the social changes produced in recent years where they are a prominent and essential support in the socio-economic situation in the one we met. Therefore, the main objective is to know, what the grandparents think about the relationship with their children and especially with their grandchildren, being the "co-educators" of the same, as well as to study the role that they exercise over them, analyzing the feelings or sacrifices of this new role that they are obliged to assume.
