La reconstrucción de un acontecimiento histórico a través de la prensa. Aproximación a una estrategia de enseñanza por descubrimiento

Abstract

Los mass-media se incorporan de forma activa al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Dentro de ellos el periódico nos tiende un puente con la sociedad, una posible comunicación, en la que está inmersa la Escuela. Desde aquí pretendemos acercamos paulatinamente a una mayor integración de ésta en aquélla. La estrategia de enseñanza por descubrimiento tiene en este contexto una gran posibilidad, y permite al alumno convertirse en un 2pequeño investigador" de los acontecimientos, en este caso concreto, históricos. Comenzará a elaborar por sí mismo sus propios conocimientos. Como planteamiento previo, la lectura de los periódicos será una realidad que permitirá una mejor comprensión de la sociedad y de la infraestructura sobre la que se sustenta. Sin embargo, su aproximación al periódico no será deforma ingenua, sino desde la cautela y la incredulidad para conseguir un mayor bagaje de verdad y pluralismo.

Mass-media is forming a more important role in the teaching-learning process. Within this, the newspaper acts as a bridge between society where the school is inmersed. From here, we can try to bring ourselves closer to a greater integration of the school into society. The strategy of teaching by discovery has a greater chance in this context and allow the pupil to turn him or herself into a "little investigator" of the historical facts. He or she will begin to elaborate on their existing knowledge. As previously thought, the reading of the newspaper will beca me a reality, which will permit a better understanding of society and its infrastructure. However, the reading of the news will not be useless but will provide a better knowledge of the truth and issues to the pupil.
