A más de diez años de la “Pérdida de la inocencia”

Abstract

Este artículo es la reflexión sobre las diferentes y nuevas corrientes que los teóricos e investigadores de la Arqueología actual han tomado desde la publicación, hace diez años, del artículo de D. L. Clarke “Archaeology: the loss of innocence”. La reflexión de Clarke sigue vigente y dicha pérdida de la inocencia no sólo es un acto de aceptación, sino que es también un acto de conversión constante mediante una fuerte crítica dentro de esta disciplina, que ni es estática ni cerrada.

This article is the reflection on the different and new currents that the theoreticians and researchers of the current Archeology have taken since the publication, ten years ago, of the article of D. L. Clarke "Archeology: the loss of innocence". Clarke's reflection is still valid and this loss of innocence is not only an act of acceptance, but it is also an act of constant conversion through a strong criticism within this discipline, which is neither static nor closed.
