Calidad del perfil motivacional en jugadores de balonmano

Abstract

En el contexto deportivo, categoría élite, es necesario conocer todos los factores, que de una u otra forma, afectan a los deportistas a lo largo de las diferentes competiciones. El objeto de estudio es conocer el perfil motivacional de jugadores de balonmano categoría élite. La muestra formada por (n) 495 jugadores, de los que, un 47,8 % eran chicos y un 52,2% chicas, sus edades están comprendidas entre los 12 y 16 años, con un promedio de 13,8 años (dt=1,0). Se realizaron análisis estadísticos descriptivos de la muestra, frecuencias absolutas y relativas para las variables cualitativas y para las cuantitativas valores mínimo, máximo, media, desviación típica, alfa de Cronbach. Correlación entre variables, con el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Se realizó la prueba MANCOVA para determinar si existían diferencias entre las dimensiones del cuestionario, según genero edad y años de práctica. Los resultados revelan que los jugadores de balonmano categoría élite de la muestra objeto de estudio tienen principalmente motivación intrínseca, alcanzando altas puntuaciones en motivación general, motivación consecución y motivación estimulación. Además de valores moderadamente altos en regulación introyectada y valores muy bajos en desmotivación.

In the sport context, elite category, it is necessary to know all the factors, which in one way or another, affect the athletes throughout the different competitions. The object of study is to know the motivational profile of elite handball players. The sample consisted of 495 players, of whom 47.8% were boys and 52.2% girls, their ages ranged from 12 to 16 years, with an average of 13.8 years (dt = 1.0).
