| Abstract: | El presente artículo ofrece un análisis del cuento "El dragón de los siete cerebros"», del escritor cacereño Leocadio Mejías, desde su contexto histórico, el tratamiento del esquema tradicional conocido como "The Dragon Slayer" (ATU 300), las transformaciones temáticas que aporta y, finalmente, el carácter metaficcional del relato. The present paper analyses the short story "The Dragon with seven brains" by Leocadio Mejías —a writer and journalist born in Cáceres (Spain)—, from its historical context, the treatment of the traditional scheme known as "The Dragon Slayer" (ATU 300), its thematic transformations and, finally, its metafictional character. |
