Proyecto OpenCourseWare y su implantación en universidades andaluzas

Abstract

Este estudio analiza las diferencias significativas entre los elementos que presentan las diferentes universidades andaluzas en las asignaturas del proyecto OpenCourseWare (OCW), a través de un tipo de investigación exploratoria y descriptiva, mediante la construcción de una lista de chequeo de materiales para la recogida de datos ubicados en el espacio de Universia (http://ocw.universia.net/es/buscar-por-universidades.php). La codificación de las 285 asignaturas se desarrolló durante los meses de enero a marzo del 2012. Entre los resultados obtenidos destacar que existen tendencias diferentes en las universidades andaluzas así como entre las propias áreas de conocimiento. Por otro lado, se encontraron diferencias significativas respecto a la configuración que presentan las diferentes asignaturas y los elementos que las componen (guía, requisitos técnicos, organización de los contenidos, descarga de materiales, hipertextualidad, etc.). Se plantea la necesidad de: a) favorecer el proyecto por vías institucionales; b) unificar los elementos que estructuran las asignaturas que se ofertan.

The purpose of this work was to study the differences between the components that have the subjects of the OpenCourseWare (OCW) of the Andalusian universities through an exploratory and descriptive study, by building a checklist of materials for the collection of space-based data Universia http://ocw.universia.net/es/buscar-por-universidades.php. The sample was made up of 285 subjects and the coding was develop during the months of January to March 2012. Among the results emphasize that there are different trends in the Andalusian universities as well as between these areas of knowledge. Moreover, significant differences were found between the different subjects and the elements that compose them (guide, technical requirements, content organization, material download sites, hypertext, among others). This raises the need to: a) promote the project through institutional means; b) unify the elements that structure the subjects offered.
